We Call Him Mike

We're calling this piece MIKE. Debbie's husband Mike was the guy that found this piece for us. He must be one strong guy to have gotten this piece in his truck all alone. 


This "Mike" was one heavy guy when it was brought home. Missing it's drawers and top. It appears that at one time it may have had a china hutch or bookcase attached to the top. 

 Now with it's new drawers (thanks to my hubs) and top this is one good looking guy. 

We decided to leave it in it's natural color. We just added a coat of dark wax to enhance the grain of the natural wood. The top and trim around the drawer fronts we're painted a rice ebony color. It takes on a beautiful brown/black appearance. 

There's lots of room on the inside.
